Bottle, thanks Vaiz! Dark brown, almost black pour, tanned head, nice lacing. Aroma of cherries, sweet prune, faint smoke, wine, liquorice. Thin pallet typical english stout. Flavour is coffee, smoke, earth, faint raisin. Quite bitter. Nice for just 5%.

Bottle. Pours black with a tan head that laces. Very creamy aroma, slightly fruity and with dark malts. Watery flavor, yet also a bit creamy, dry, bitter and malty.

An okay beer. A little unexciting for me. Pretty plain aroma of malts and nuts, carmels and toffee. Slight chocolate taste. Taste is malty and nutty. Overall, not too bad.

Black color. Light brown, medium long, head. Strong coffee aroma, with typical licorice and chocolate too. Some caramel/bubblegum. Light to medium bitterness taste. In my opinion a bit too short finish in relation to the starting aroma. Nice balanced, "good but not great" stout.

A pretty decent sweet Stout. Nice buckweat perfume similar to the french beer "Telenn Du". A drinkable smooth stout.

From a 500ml bottle on 7/1/2010. Has a mainly coffee-malt aroma. Flavour wise it exhibits burnt, roasted coffee and chocolate tones. Some sweetness is evident but it’s nicely balanced by a decent amount of bitterness. While stouts will never be my passion, this one goes down quite well.

Bottle in Amsterdam. Pitch black with little head to show. Dark malty nose. Syrupy taste of oats. Quite smooth with a nice bitter finish. Pretty good.
