Aroma is strong tar, dry fruit and alcohol. Flavor is dark, roasted malt, coffee, dry fruit, alcohol and a nice acidulous impression of oxidation that is not a negative flavor here. I like it a lot.

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 5/5 | 8/20 | Jan 16, 2010 Bottle. It’s pitch black with a nougat-brown, huge and creamy head. Sadly there is a strong note of sewer and barnyard alongside with roasted malt, dark fruits and licorice in the aroma. The mouthfeel is oily and nice. The flavour has a light sweetness and the same annoying notes of sewer and barnyard, but also roasted malt, yeast, light dark fruits and licorice. I’m pretty sure this could have been really nice...
