Botteled @ EBF 2008. Black body with a thin beige head. Aroma is strong tar, dry fruit and alcohol. Flavor is dark, roasted malt, coffee, dry fruit, alcohol and a nice acidulous impression of oxidation that is not a negative flavor here. I like it a lot.

Bottle 27,5 cl. Pours an opaque black with a tiny, rough beige head. Aroma has sweet hard roasted malt and salty licorice. Solid body, completely flat, hard roasted malt, dark dried fruits and licorice. Very malt bitter finish. Your usual excentric and rustic British take on an Imperial Stout. 200310

Bottled. A black beer with a huge dark brown head. The aroma is strong with notes alcohol, over ripe fruits, roasted malt, and wood. The over is sweet with strong notes of over ripe fruits and roasted malt as well as medium notes of alcohol, burnt bread, and light notes of wood, leading to a very dry roasted finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle, 27,5cl. Pours a pith black beer with a weak brown head. The aroma is roasted and licorice. The flavor is close to the nose. The palate is bold with a low carbonationlevel and a little sticky. Overall a good bold beer.

Bottle. It’s pitch black with a nougat-brown, huge and creamy head. Sadly there is a strong note of sewer and barnyard alongside with roasted malt, dark fruits and licorice in the aroma. The mouthfeel is oily and nice. The flavour has a light sweetness and the same annoying notes of sewer and barnyard, but also roasted malt, yeast, light dark fruits and licorice. I’m pretty sure this could have been really nice...
