Aromas of rotten milk, rotten eggs, old yeast, stale chocolate and soy sauce (smells awful). Appears black with a thin brown foam. Taste is foreign chocolates, skunky dark malts, harsh earth, dirt, mud, spoiled chocolate milk, vanilla and funky yeast. Finishes terribly boozy. No bourbon whatsoever. I’m extremely dis-appointed by this. I had such high hopes. This is the worst BA beer I’ve ever had, and the worst Green Flash beer I’ve ever had. I really hope this is just a bad batch or something but this is awful. Huge letdown, waste of $19....

On cask at Stone’s Green Flash takeover. Pours black with a super long lasting tan, foamy head. Aroma of bourbon, chocolate, oak, vanilla and roasted malt. Flavors are about the same with the sweetness being cut back with the booze and dry roasted malt. Medium to full body with mild carbonation and an slick, oily mouth feel. Great beer from Green Flash, about as much oak and bourbon as I like while still letting the amazing base beer shine.

Whiskey, vanilla, woody aroma. Straight up black in color. Caramel and irsh cream notes over the vanilla/woody/whiskey tinged stout. Seriously well, balanced...one of the most rounded beers Ive had.
