1/11/09- Bottle. Drinkable, but certainly not with the flavor/complexity that comes with a Belgian Ale. Light body and just a twing of bitter- really not much to it for a belgian ale. Remember it much better on draft.

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/20 | Mar 16, 2010 not much aroma, slightly sweet but buried under a white frothy head that seems to be nitrogen infused... surely not? Warm nutty light brown colour that matches the nutty warmth on the tounge. But fades away too quick, without a lot of character or depth, to a slightly rotten aftertaste. If I didn’t know better I would’ve thought it was a ham-fisted attempt by a mass light-lager brewer to create a "traditional ale" style; inoffensive enough for those who like things safe. broozer81 (84), , New Jersey, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 25, 2010 Drank from the tap at Ron Blacks in White Plains, NY. Grain and malt flavors dominate this beer with a little bit of a straw, skunky aftertaste. ectuohy27 (93), New Jersey, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 19, 2010 Interestingly light ale, moderate maltiness and some hoppiness, though not--by my admittedly hop-hating standards--overly so. everything i’ve just said means "not very offensive", but that’s the problem with this beer--it has nothing positive going for it, just an absence of things bad with it!
