Commercial Description:
The standard by which all other wheat beers are judged. Our deliciously deranged American-Style Hefeweizen is an award winning take on this Bavarian classic. This refreshingly unfiltered wheat ale delivers a distinctively smooth flavor worth sharing with friends.

Sampled from 12 oz bottle on 10/25/2006 at the Junedale Beer Klub meeting... Color is light gold with a white head. Mild carbonation. Light everything - light lacing, light wheat flavor and aroma, light yeast in the flavor in the aroma, light body. Needed more oomph behind everything!

Attractive hefe-type pour releases the yeasty/wheaty aromas. The flavor is grassy, fruity, citrus, banana, clove, and spices. Decent wheat, if unremarkable.

Translucent cloudy beer with a crazy film on top. Just a little fruity aroma. Clean beer taste, low bitterness if any. Finish ever so slightly remaining.

Smells of oranges and grapefruit and is opaque and orangish color with a small creamy head. Malt and hops balanced with hops taking a slight edge.

12 oz bottle. Hazy orange colored body with a short lasting white head. Quite light aroma with some citrus and a hint of banana. Nice flavor, well balanced mix of citrus, banana and some caramel. Some lemon and a hint of acid in aftertaste. Something between a Belgium wit and a Bavarian hefe weizen? I like it.
