The latest addition to the Boulevard family of year-around beers, Single-Wide I.P.A. is our take on a style that originated in 18th century Great Britain. Ingredients: Pale malt, caramel malt & malted wheat. Magnum, Columbus, Bravo, Cascade, Centennial & Palisade hops. 59 IBUs.

Beer poured an amber/orange pour with a medium sized white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, and pine. Flavor of citrus sticks out right away and the hops come at the end. A good beer.

Yellow, white head, little lacing. Heavy citrus, not a lot of balance. Lots and lots of carbonation. Pretty foul aftertaste. Maybe a bad bottle?

Reminds me why I don’t buy IPA’s. Bottle to pint glass. Pours golden, slightly cloudy, with nice off-white head that lingers and laces. Nice citrus smell. Bitter, painfully bitter, true to its style. Finishes bitter and very hoppy. Malts are non-existent. Has nice mouth feel that is refreshing, despite the.....bitterness. I tried to be fair in rating it, just because I don’t care for IPA’s doesn’t mean this is bad, just not to my liking. I got used to bitter beers over in England, but have lost the tolerance.

Bottle. Pours hazy gold with a foamy three finger off-white head. Citrus/floral aromas. Medium body with mild carbonation. It’s hoppy. It’s bitter. The malt is submerged. Floral and citrus hop. Finishes bitter. Really nice IPA. Bitter just persists on and on.

12oz bottle. Bought a sixer and took it to my brothers house NYE 09. He drank the other five and good stuff he said. Had a good citrus aroma. Copper body with off white head. Good citrus grapefruit in the flavor and cool and crisp on the palate. Refreshing brew.

I’m not usually a big fan of IPAs, but this one was pretty good. Hoppy, but not overpowering with hints of floral. Smooth and easy to drink with a bit of sweetness hidden within the hops and a slight bitter finish, but not too bitter. I am not a fan of bitter finishes, but this one is a winner.

12 ounce bottle from Goody Goody. Grassy, hay, citrus nose from a moderately carbonated, nicely laced pour. Hop presence is immediate but not overwhelming. Good balance for a Midwest IPA.
