Commercial Description:
An American style fruit beer made with Wisconsin’s Door County cooking cherries and lager yeast. The tartness of the cherry is balanced with the sweetness from the 2-row barley and the flavoring of Mt. Hood hops.

Smells very faintly of cherry and not much else. Taste is very strong cherry, but not in a bad way. Kind of sour cherry flavor with nice thick malts. Very nice fruit beer

Appearance is a red-amber color with mild, slightly off whie head. Aroma is a malty and sweet; slightly yeasty-cherry. Taste of slightly malty with a bit of dry, hop flavor, balanced cherry flavor is a slightly sour.

I thought this was a really nice beer, I was worried it was going to be sweet and cloying. This beer has a nice tart cherry flavor, and while it’s not subtle, most definatly a fruit beer, the cherry is nice and works with the beer well to not be some Wonka fruity syrup concoction. Pours a light ruby color with a soft white head. I thought this was a well done fruit lager.

Delightful cherry overtones throughout. Fruity (go figure) aroma, sweet tasting. Cherries are not overpowering.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a slightly hazy red with a small head. Slightly sour with some cherry aromas. Nice because it is not overly cherried. Medium bodied. High to medium carbonaion. Fresh and quaffable.
