At first it tastes too much of gear, but after some time you get used to the taste and find it good.

660 ml bottle. A hazy, reddish amber colored beer with a mediumsized lightly tanned head. Sweet perfumed, bubblegum-fruity aroma. Fruity and malty sweetness in the flavor, with notes of yeast and mild spices. Sugary, light sticky texture. Malts and sugar in the finish. A decent sweetheart, a bit out of balance.

Bottle, at home. Sweet taste of burnt malt, chocolate and cassis. Brown with off-white head, quickly disappearing. Sweet and though bitter, long duration.

07 vintage. Pours a hazy brown with a light yellow head. Fruity of prunes and plums. Alcohol in the finish with some bitterness. 2005 vintage. Pours a clear brown with an off-white head. Smells portish. Fruity flavors of prunes. Sweet and full. Nice and mellow. Strong portish finish. Well rounded. Improves a lot with age.

Dark mahogany with a little head and small spots of lace. Aromas of banana, clove, sugar and alcohol. Some coriander with mild citrus and other fruits. Flavors show a big dose of coriander, bread, alcohol, bittering hops, caramel and roast. Thick and spicy that finishes out with bitter alcohol.
