Lightly sweet, malty taste, biscuit and caramel, with an even and balanced bitterness. Really pleasant quaffer. zer0crew (74), Duluth, Minnesota, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Feb 7, 2010 Bottle. Pours a dark straw color, with just a slight ring of head that persists. A dry, piney bitterness. Tastes a bit watery. Brigadier (1287), Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA

A leftover from a party I cracked open this freebie to figure out why people flock to breweries like Leinenkugels. The only thing I can surmise is that it makes a good national alternative to Budweiser and Miller. Otherwise this is a run of the mill amber ale that is not worth the bottle that holds it.
Aroma / Appearance - Transparent and weak the gilded body glimmers by the light of a lamp. The slumping head seems ashamed to be associated with such a boring product and disappears fast. The nose is that typical cheap macro smell of whole grain cheerios. This is bland, safe, and boring from the start.
Flavor / Palate - Crisp whole wheat thins make up the entire flavor profile of a flat uninteresting beer. It might actually be better in a bottle since it does not have a chance to open up. Totally inoffensive and safe this is probably one of those beers that adventurous Budweiser drinkers buy to show they are willing to try "craft beer". Unfortunately that market is big enough for a dismal beer like this to succeed. Unibonger (102), Mount Shasta, California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 2, 2010 12oz. Pours real clear amber with thin head, very little retention, no noticeable lacy patterns yet. Mellow but very grainy aroma with a slight hint of fruitiness. Very thin flavor with dominant grain flavor. Thin-medium body, medium carbonation, slightly slick texture to it. Not much in the way of flavor perhaps a very slight grainny flavor with a little bit of toffe. Hops bitterness linger on the back of the tongue. Overall not too bad but not too good either. vtafro (639), , New Jersey, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 5/5 | 3/10 | 4/5 | 6/20 | Feb 1, 2010 Draft. Amber pour with some tan head. Didn’t even meet my expectations for mediocrity. Some malt notes, hops not so much. Did finish the pint. MmmcKay (361), Brentwood, Tennessee, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 26, 2010 Not at all bad. Light and slightly sweet. This is a candy amber. Flavors are of candy corns and watered down coke. Very drinkable but very plain. Aroma is flat. WakeandBake (463), Greenville, Michigan, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 24, 2010 Bottle . A clear amber color pour with a short lasting two finger fizzy offwhite head , high carbonation , little to no lacing left . Aroma of cereal grain , dry wood and a hint at caramel . Flavor is pretty strait forward lightly malty and lightly bitter , a little spicy at the finish , crisp clean mouthfeel with a light body , I would call this quite drinkable and a decent enough offering ,
