Bottle... Clear copper lager with a small, creamy, white head. Excellent retention. Vinous notes, dark fruits and roasted nuts merge to assemble the rich aroma. Full-bodied and creamy with reticent carbonation. Sweet toffee and butterscotch. Lightly chocolaty. Bittersweet, vinous finish. Kudos to Marsiblursi for floating this brew across the pond!

Bottle, at home. Thanks to rickgordon. Dark orange with light brown head, mostly diminishing, fair lacings. Aroma moderate malty (dark bread, caramel, fruity) and hoppy. Flavor moderate sweet and bitter, fine balanced, long duration. Medium body, oily, flat carbonated.

Bottle courtesy of omhper. Pours brown with a white head that settles down to sparse carbonation. Smells fruity with cherries, raisins, and plums dominating a sweet malty backdrop. Tastes of cherries, fruit, slightly metallic and very earthy. Mouthfeel is tingly and tarte. Finish is lemony.

(Bottle 33 cl) Apparently the name refers to the moon, as this beer is only brewed once a year during the first full moon. Close to copper-coloured, quite limited head. Fat body, very malty with a pronounced hoppiness. Very close to an original German doppelbock. Delicious. 020603

Bottle, 33 cl, 2007 edition with 7.9 % abv. Clear reddish brown with large, fluffy, off-white head. Fruity, syrupy, slightly burnt malt aroma, with some herbal hops and woody notes. Medium to full bodied and very smooth. Quite bitter finish, alcohol well hidden.

Bottle. Dark amber colour with an off-white head. Sweet malty aroma. Notes of caramel. This is good, I just wish Grebbestad would do additional exciting styles.
