This one is truly delicious, a hit for sure! It is hazy, almost unclear orange-golden and the head is creamy and lasting. The aroma is wonderfully hoppy with notes of citrus, mostly oranges and tangerine, peach, a little pineapple and caramel. The slightly sweet flavor has notes of peach, oranges, tangerine and other citrus, melon, spruce, malt and caramel. It is very complex and harmonic!

Tap @ Lord Nelson, Cph.
Pours clear, pale golden with a small, creamy, white, film head. Aroma has lots of hops, oranges, strawberries, grapefruit, caramel. Medium carbonation, super dry mouthfeel. Flavour is just a stunning IIPA. Oily hops, dry, grapefruit, pine, grass and a long, long, long, long aftertaste. Some fine caramel to balance. Really, really nice.

Botella. Very nice unclear golden orange colour with a medium well lasting white head leaving a good lacing. Pine, ripe fruit, some alcohol and bit peach in the aroma. Good mouthfeel indeed. Very pleasant hoppy pine, fruity, grape, peach bitter flavour with long lasting dry bitter fruity finish. Yum indeeed.

Bottle from Cracked Kettle. Bright orange body with rocky head. Hoppy nose with much pine. Taste of grapefruit to be sure, with nice citrus and oily notes. Very oily and grapefruit finish. A real delight.

Bright neon orange color with a medium white head that settles quickly to a thin layer; fine lacing...and LEGS! Aroma of citrus, cloves, malt and fresh bread. Flavor begins slowly, with light malt and yeast, then orange peel; then the bitterness builds, and builds. Finish is dry enough to suck your cheeks in. Great body, on the meaty and chewy side. 10.10! Shocking. What an IPA. What an IPA!

Hazy deep blond color; creamy head. It has a very nice fruity aroma, apricots and mango. Good body, sweet malt and toffee flavor, with a strong hopping, with fruity resins; it’s a bit metallic in the end. Better than botttled.

2009-05-10, bottle, batch 01.01, 8-4-7-4-15=38
with Simcoe, Amarillo, Tomahawk

Hazy light amber color, with a medium-sized creamy head. The aroma is very nice, with fruity and resiny hops, pungent, with some grapefruit, but flowery too. It has a correct caramel and toffee flavor, less sweet than expected, as well as less body strength; the hops give a earthy character too, almost light manure; the yeast seems to give some Belgian qualities, but with the lack of sugars it doesn’t combine well with the hops. Strong final, bitter, with some resins. Overall, the aroma is very impressive, the rest not so much. But it’s still good if you feel for a fair amount of hops.
