Bottle. The aroma is light bitter, weak smell of chocolate, some malt. The head is medium large, creamy and beige with a normal duration, the body is black. The taste is sweet and malty, some chocolate and liquor. The body is creamy, light to medium strong with a soft carbonation. A good stout.

Dark Brown/Black pour, with a slight bubbly tan head. Aroma is chocolate, peat, a bit salty and smokey, and a flutter of roast. Flavor is smokey, some light bacon and peatiness. Salty and chocolatey. Some roast on the finish. Nice.

Bottle at Paul’s: Deep brown amber pour with a strong tan film of head. Slightly smoky/peaty aroma with a chocolaty presence and a touch of raisin. Silky palate. Chocolaty flavor as well with a dark fruit (raisin) presence. Soft boozy notes as well. The peated malts are more evident with warmth, arriving on the back end of the palate. Softly toasted- a pretty nice Stout.

Flavor is earthy nutty, toffee and diactyl- mineral, chalk, sweet caramel malts and more tootsie roll sweet chocolate and brown sugar in the finish. Ok.

Pours a deep onyx black with a full tan head. Aroma of chocolate, nuts, vanilla, and old wood. Light bitterness, diacetyl present but not overwhelming, pleasant roasted malt characteristic.
