On tap at Nguyen du Brauhof, pours an opaque cloudy dark orange with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out crisp vegetables, some herbal notes, and toasted nuts. Flavour is clean enough, with herbal notes, bready malt and light toasted nuts. A little too vegetal, but it’s not bad. Smooth palate - easy to drink - just rather lame.

Шикарно& место в Сайгоне и очень вкусное пиво. Пока дойдешь до него по жаре хочется выпить кружек пять сразу

Draft - Light grains and bread. Hazy gold with a rich white head. Light fruity grains and a decent finish.

Tap at the brewpub. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, some hops. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light watery malt, hop bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

UPDATED: OCT 1, 2015 Helles on tap at the brewpub in Ho Chi Minh. A deep reddish brown which was slighter lighter than I was expecting with a thin light beige head. The aroma is sweet malty caramel with some light fudge. Light bodied with a slickly smooth mouthfeel. The taste is caramel but it was weird. Nothing seemed overly off but I got an odd vibe from it. Bitter caramel malts, sweet, rough with a syrupy aftertaste. Not for me.

Aroma: bread and grain malts, light caramel. Appearance: slightly hazy, dark gold, medium, creamy, white head. Taste: light sweet. Palate: malty sweets continue, grains and bread. Overall: a Helles, better than all the other Pale Lagers you get otherwise. Pint at Nguyen Du Brauhaus, HCMC.

Had this at the brewpub just after the dunkel which was awful. Sadly this waant much better. Hazy yellow appearance with white head. Aroma was eggy and stale. Taste was quite watery but also eggy and tasted off much like the dunkel. Couldn’t finish it after the dunkel.

Pleasant refreshing helles, nice head with a soft bready aroma. The flavour is biscuity and malty with low hop levels. This was the one for me.

On tap at the brewpub. Cloudy golden with a creamy white head. Spicy hops aroma, quite nice balance between malts and spicy hops. Decent.
