COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

   AROMA 7/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 7/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 14/20
Syd (921) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - AUG 31, 2004
The Cider pours a golden color with good carbonation. The aroma is mild and slightly grassy/earthy (?). The flavor tastes like apples and that slightly grassy/earthy thing I identified in the aroma. In addition, I detect some sort of spice or something. The palate is very fizzy. This is my first Cider rate and I have no idea what to look for. Overall, I can drink this!

Svesse (14167) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - AUG 19, 2022
UPDATED: AUG 19, 2022 (Bottle, vintage 2015, 5.5% abv) Hazy amber colour with brief, bubbly head. Fruity nose with notes of apple peel, orange peel and a touch of oak wood. Fruity, vinous taste with apples, citrus, hay, oak wood and a slight bitterness in a bone dry finish. Good acidity. Medium body, dry. Crisp, elegant and really tasty. Very nice.

dorain (2484) - Berlin, GERMANY - FEB 20, 2021

minutemat (14649) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - DEC 27, 2020
UPDATED: DEC 27, 2020 75cl bottle from Whole Foods, Kensington. Pours a generally clear caramel gold, thin white ring atop. Aroma of toffee apple, caramelised fruit. Taste is crisp, fruity with caramelised brown sugar, stewed fruit, hints of raisin with gritty wine-like flourishes and racy acidity. Nice effervescence. Great stuff.

Sigmund (13288) - Tau, NORWAY - OCT 22, 2020
UPDATED: OCT 22, 2020 750 ml corked & caged bottle, vintage 2017, from Être Gourmet, Belgium. ABV is 6%. Golden colour, pours sparkling with a large white head that actually lasts a while. Distinct aroma of acidic apples, hints of oak. Soft mouthfeel. The flavour is smooth and not as acidic as expected, medium sweet.

jonas (14011) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - MAR 1, 2019
UPDATED: MAR 2, 2019 Bottle, 2016. Red gold, fine pearling. Dry pear, appleskin marzipan sparkles, medium dry sparkly, fullbodied sweetness, sparkly chewy. Hazlenut, old pear, marzipan, impressive balance - dry to sweet, fruity to dry spice. No nonsense great drink.

4.1
SinH4 (15466) - Garching bei München, GERMANY - MAR 1, 2019
UPDATED: MAR 1, 2019 2016 bottle. Clear deep golden color with white head. Aroma is red apples, vanilla, custard, good funk. Taste is vanilla, juicy red apples at first, then immediately the funk takes over, light hazelnut, going towards a dusty, bone-dry finish. Bone dry, foamy carbonation. Great bone dry Cidre if you are into that. Lots of character going on here, no compromises, bold and balanced at the same time.
