Aroma and taste are treefruit malt and pungent conifer bitterness, light alcohol; chewy, a little astringent, medium-long non-coating bitter finish - decent carbonation. Not bad. HogTownHarry	3.7 Cheshire Valley Red IPA July 14, 2013 - at the Rhino Summer Beer Festival 2013. On ... draught? (from a cooler-keg). Hazy amber-gold with a decent creamy/frothy beige head. Aroma is a bit sweet, but quite floral, mild alcohol - taste quite pungently floral; simple, a bit sweet, but very nice balance. blankboy	3.5 Cheshire Valley Holy Molé Porter [Draught at ’NAC Beer Experience’, May 5, Airship 37] Pours a very dark amber-brown with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma of sweet roasted malt, chocolate, a bit of coffee and some dark fruit. Flavour mostly follows but is more chocolatey and is not as spicy as I would have expected -- maybe a bit of spice there? Eructoblaster	3.6 Cheshire Valley Robust Porter On tap at Brothers Beer Bistro (Ottawa, ON). Opaque black body with a thin beige creamy head. Nice malty aroma with hoppy and chocolate hints. Its robust malty/hoppy taste carries woody and roasted coffee notes. Ends with a decent bitter/roasty finish. Good stuff. Wednesday, August 12, 2015

Freaky_tiki	3.4 Cheshire Valley Mandarina Brown in the glass with a creamy one finger cap. Flavour comes on like a bar stool hussy, all woodsy & acorn like. Hops are hidden behind the malt. It comes wrapped in a slightly syrupy finish. More pale ale in appearance than in flavour, this comes across more like an English ale or bitter than anything else. Spab	3.3 Cheshire Valley India Session Ale (C.V.I.S.A.) On tap C’est What. Pours a lightly cloudy golden orange with good-sized, lasting white head that leaves a little lace. Aroma is grassy and citrusy hops with some cracker. Flavour is quite grassy with some decent citrusy character and light grainy malt. Modest bitterness in finish. Helsdon	3.2 Cheshire Valley Ginger Spiced Ale I’m a little late posting this one. Just porting over notes taken from the recent Ratebeer Toronto East vs West Bombarbier event at the Only. I’ll admit I was getting a little loopy by this one, but I will not admit the defeat for the WEST! I’ll admit I love trying new (and potentially messed-up) beers. This came off a bit weird. Pours a rosy gold with some cloud, a finger of white dense creamy head. Nose has lots of raw ginger, some sweetness, and a mild malty-ness in the back. The taste is very malty, a good ginger zing lasts thoughout, but overall a little thin on the pallet. Thursday, September 4, 2014
Spab	3.1 Cheshire Valley Ginger Spiced Ale On tap at C’est What (as Ginger Cream Ale). Pours a clearish golden colour with good-sized white head and solid retention. Aroma is ginger with some light fruity notes. Flavour has tart ginger that is somewhat offset by a gentle, sweet fruitiness. A little puckering from the ginger in the finish. Silky mouthfeel. MartinT	3.3 Cheshire Valley English Mild My Bottom Line: Earthen hops and roasted malts evolve into leafy, almost vegetal notes in this lean Dark Mild. Further Personal Perceptions: -A veil of foam covers the dark brown gown. -Mouthfeel is not soft and cuddly, but rather slender and bubbly. -Bitterness is surprisingly prominent. -This is nowhere near as smooth and malty as Moorhouse’s (UK) or Albion’s (QC) take on the style. Spab	3.6 Cheshire Valley Mildly Amusing On tap at the Only Cafe. Pours a dark brown with an orange tinge and average-sized, lasting light tan head. Aroma is roasty with mellow coffee and hints of cocoa. Flavour also has a nice roastiness with definite coffee character and a little chocolate. A nice mild - lots of flavour despite the low ABV. pootzboy	3.8 Cheshire Valley Mosaic Single Hop Pale Ale On tap @ Bent Elbow - Taps a clouded gold with a 1 finger off white cap. Aroma is uncomplicated but gorgeous - big wafts of earthy-pine notes over pale malt breadiness - flavor essentially follows aroma with the earthy-pine tastes of the mosaic complimenting the fresh bready malts - dries lightly in the finish and offers some pleasant bittering. jercraigs	3.5 Cheshire Valley Cinnamon Spiced Porter 2013-09-13. Black body with a nice brown head and lace. 4+ Aroma of cinnamon, whisper of cinnamon dusted donut and dark malt. Flavour is similar, good amount of cinnamon up front, sweetish dark malt, light roast notes. Smooth average plus bodied palate, soft carbonation. 3+ Pretty nice, the cinnamon is dominant but the base beer supports it relatively well. solidfunk	3.8 Cheshire Valley Cinnamon Spiced Porter Cinnamon is very light here so it integrates well with what tastes like their ordinary robust porter which I already love. The experiment works out here though, as they add just enough cinnamon to make a subtle presence. Pours pitch black with mocha head and lacing. Roast malt, some dark chocolate. jercraigs	3.6 Cheshire Valley Red IPA 2013-07-14. Lightly hazy dark amber body small frothy white head. Aroma is fruity, lightly leafy green hop character. Flavour is pleasantly bitter throughout, leafy touches, lightly resiny. Hoppy with relatively substantial malt support. 7+ Average bodied palate, light carbonation suits it pretty nicely. Smells and tastes like an acceptable classic dark English mild - sort of sweet, a little earthy, soft bitterness and no alcohol; not at all harsh. dfearnley	3.6 Cheshire Valley Robust Porter Cask to flute Dark chocolate, a bit of coffee, and molasses. Deep black with a creamy and bubbly dark tan head. Coffee is the primary taste, some dark chocolate, and malts galore. Mouthfeel is light (for a porter) but very smooth and a bit creamy.
