jybi	2.7 Havannah Kriek Je ne peux pas dire que cette Kriek caledonienne a le vrai gout de cerise. Mais, avec écrit arômes sur l'étiquette et en aucun cas cerise, les choses étaient claires (acide citrique et gallique sont aussi au programme...). Après, allez trouver des cerises en Nouvelle Caledonie (à des prix abordables...). Donc intrinsèquement, ce n'est pas sensationnel. Mais finalement, en comparant avec d'autres Kriek belges qui intègrent des cerises avec d'autres cochonneries telles que de l'aspartame, cette Havannah n'a pas à rougir (je sais, pour une kriek, elle est facile). Le visuel est propre avec une belle robe rose foncé, une fine effervescence et une mousse blanche ne couvrant pas toute la surface. Au nez cela sent la cerise bonbon comme les Pezs. En bouche c'est trop sucré (comme bon nombre de Krieks sur des arômes artificiels à fond. La corpulence et la longueur sont bonnes et l'alcool à 5 % honnête. Je ne suis pas le plus grand fan des Krieks, et celle-ci, sans être réussie, n'est pas la pire de celles que j'ai pu essayer. Monday, March 18, 2024
Grumbo	2.2 Number One Pêche 4/3/2024. Can courtesy of Jean-Baptiste, cheers! New Caledonia #50. What a way to bring up such a milestone. Pours clear pale golden with a large frothy white head. Aroma is very peachy, a little real but more so sweet and artificial, with citrusy malty notes. Fairly sweet, with light bitterness and some peachy tartness. Moderate body, quite chalky, average carbonation. Perfumed finish. Only fair. Monday, March 4, 2024

Aroma is sweet, malty, stewed fruits, caramel, honey, wet leaves, apple, touch of yeast and herb and a vague hint of ginger. Taste is sweet, chalky, light bitterness. jybi	2.3 Havannah Blonde Il parait que cette bière est d'inspiration belge !! Intéressant à savoir. LA Nouvelle Belgique est peut-être une île du pacifique proche de la Nouvelle Calédonie !! N'attendez pas grand-chose en tout cas de cette Havannah blonde et vous ne serez pas déçus ! A noter l'adjonction d'extraits de malt caramélisé et d'arômes... Le visuel est sur un blond doré limpide avec une fine effervescence peu soutenue quasiment sans mousse. Le nez est sur une alliance céréales, miel et coriandre sans finesse. En bouche la texture est pâteuse, toujours sans finesse. Les corpulence et longueur sont limitées avec un alcool à 6% très moyen. Une très légère acidité permet de réveiller quelque peu l'ensemble. jybi	1.5 Number One Letchi Je ne remercie par la GBNC pour cette version au letchi de la Number One. Et pourtant le letchi est un fruit que j'apprécie grandement. Mais sur cette bière, ils ont même réussi à dénaturer le goût du letchi. Le visuel est sur un blond limpide avec de grosses bulles moyennement soutenues et une mousse blanche nappant la surface. Au nez, ce n'est pas engageant sur des arômes de letchi altérés. En bouche ce n'est pas mieux avec en plus l'exploit de rendre cette bière astringente. Bien entendu c'est trop sucré. A fuir ! jybi	1.7 Number One Pêche Que dire. Déjà la number one n'est pas une réussite, ou plutôt est-elle insipide, mais là...en nous rajoutant des arômes de pêche, cela ne l'arrange pas. D'ailleurs je m'attendais à l'inverse et à ce que cela la rende davantage buvable. Mais avec ces arômes artificiels de pêche, je trouve que cela la rend plus écœurante. Le visuel est tout de même honnête avec un blond limpide, une effervescence peu soutenue et une mousse peinant à couvrir toute la surface. Le nez est sur une pêche artificielle, les céréales et le citron. En verre rien de grand-chose à dire d'autre. C'est plat, sans variations, un peu trop sucré et sans âme. jybi	3.2 Number One Fusion Fusion de quoi?....la question reste posée pour une bière qui est la Number One en un peu plus forte. Et si les arômes ne sont pas plus passionnants, l'alcool montre un peu plus de vigueur du haut de ses 7 % pour un résultat qui est un peu moins pire que la Number One classique. On se console comme on peut. Le visuel est sur un blond doré limpide avec une effervescence peu soutenue et une mousse blanche ne couvrant pas la surface. Le nez est avant tout malté sur les céréales et le caramel avec une petite pointe citron. En bouche, nous retrouvons ces arômes peu passionnants avec heureusement une légère amertume qui donne de la fraîcheur et l'alcool, à 7% qui confère un minimum de caractère. Pours clear bright golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma of lemon, washing up liquid, drizzle cake, malt, syrup. Quite sweet with light bitterness. Moderate body, oily, average carbonation.
