theprof	3.3 Clearwater Dark Night Poured dark ruby chestnut body tan lace top. Aroma more malt than hop. Medium sweet to bitter with a strong roasted malt flavour. Medium bodied smooth texture average carbonation and a bitter finish. Not your typical ESB and for pub owners preparing their line up for the punters confusing .@mistrollininn. Friday, March 22, 2024

Taste comprises orange zest, biscuit malts, bready notes, straw, grains. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Okay cask offering but not really close to a session IPA for me. Grumbo	3 Clearwater Riff 24/8/2023. Cask at the 31st East Anglian Beer & Cider Festival. Pours clear amber copper with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma of malt, toffee, fruit, husk, earthy edge and just a little rough. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, oily and watery, average to soft carbonation. BlackHaddock	2.6 Clearwater Mariners 500ml bottle: BB 6th October 2022. Drank on 9th August 2022 while dog and house sitting in Devon. Grimsby Town (The Mariners) have just won 4-0 this evening, against Crewe. I have opened this beer in celebration of that win. Old gold colour, clean and clear, fast wading white head that soon became a wisp and collar. I so wanted this to be great; sadly it isn't. It's a twiggy Pale/Bitter (the front label calls it a "Bitter Pale Ale") with a 'fizzy' body feel. I thought there might be some sea salt or seaweed in the brew, but the name bears little to mariners in it's aroma, taste or 'style'. It is bitter, but not as bitter as I am! Tuesday, August 9, 2022
AshtonMcCobb	3.8 Clearwater Eric's ESB On cask at the Guildford Arms. Appearance - golden to copper. Beige head. Nose - toffee, raisins and bread. Taste - raisin, honey and syrup. Fruitcake. Candied orange or marmalade. Palate - light to medium bodied, rich and sweet middle and a bit drier on the finish. Overall - amazing what you can do with a good malt bill combined with the appropriate hops. No adjuncts! Monday, August 1, 2022

Aroma of caramel, vanilla, malt, stewed fruit, slight butter notes. Medium sweetness, light to moderate bitterness and body. Oily and watery, prickly carbonation. Fair. Tuesday, July 19, 2022

Dark mahogany body, beige head. Malty yet bitter and almost sour in nature, like home brew that's 'on the turn'. This can't be right. Pleasantly sweet in the nose with hints of floral honey and muted hop notes, soft and sweet in the mouth with some gentle honey notes, finish has low hop bitterness, a touch of yeast and a lingering fruity honey note.
