HighSparkDiesel	2.6 No-Li Big Juicy IPA A small can from Mia C'Bon near NCCU. Aroma: fruity, tending towards orange. Appearance: completely opaque golden amber, some chunky off-white cream. Palate: medium-bodied and oily, softish carbonation, sweetish finish with astringent notes. Taste: medium-sweet, some citrus; pine needles tending towards ashtray. Unremarkable. HighSparkDiesel	2.4 No-Li Jet Juiced A small can from Mia C'Bon near NCCU. Aroma: vaguely citric with a bit of old sock thrown in. Hazy golden amber, 2-3 mm. off-white head. Palate: full-bodied and slick, softish carbonation, predominantly sweet finish with a fleeting bitter afterburn. Taste: medium-sweet with bitter notes, alcohol sneaks up on you, a hit of butter. An unusual concoction - aroma is disappointing and not sure about the taste, but enjoyed the alcohol. Wednesday, January 31, 2024
HighSparkDiesel	2.5 No-Li Threezy Does It A small can from Mia C'Bon near NCCU; the can says 'Hazy India Pale Ale.' Aroma: sweet citrus. Hazy, rather murky golden amber, negligible off-white lacing. Palate: light-bodied and oily, average carbonation, finishes bitter, lightly astringent. Taste: lightly bitter with some sweet notes, a hit of canned pineapple. Taste holds up well considering its modest ABV, but not sure if a low alcohol IPA is my cup of tea. Wednesday, January 31, 2024

poisoneddwarf	3.7 No-Li Squatch Bandit 12 oz from a six pack. Aroma is tangerine, crackery malt, pine, strawberry. Pours murky burnt orange with a two finger cream white head with good retention. Taste has a mild pithy bitterness, finishing dry. Doesn’t have typical NEIPA sweetness. Velvety mouthfeel, but slightly thin. Although there are notes of tangerine, I wish they were more prominent. jtw	4 No-Li Wrecking Ball Imperial Stout Bomber bottle thanks my Seattle-area brother! Very dark pour with diminishing tan head. Aroma of roasted barley and tart red fruits, some cascade-like American hops bitterness to offset a big malt presence. Not the thickest or creamiest of imperial stouts but the body is well-established. A very nice brew, with well-disguised 9.5% alcohol without being sticky and cloying. Very enjoyable!
