ccex	2.8 Big Dog's Las Vegas Craft Lager (LV Lager) 12 oz. Can pours a clear golden with practically no head and absolutely no lacing. Aroma has strong grainy malts, almost like a Czech pilsner. Body is light with a crisp mouthfeel. The best part might be the label on the can: an overweight brown dog with shades and a wig impersonating Elvis under the Las Vegas sign. Friday, January 26, 2024

Nose is biscuit malts, herb, caramel, dried fruit rinds. Taste comprises biscuit, grains, stewed fruits, caramel wafer. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Fine for the style. Ibrew2or3	3.6 Big Dog's Red Hydrant Ale Panda, courtesy of SHIG, pours with a clear deep copper body that supports a thin light tan head. The mild aroma offers up a bit of malts, some graham cracker and then a spicy sort of German dark bread sort of thing. The taste delivers a blend of sweet crystal malts, caramel malts and then a mildly spicy sort of maple sensation. Interesting. A few more sips and the malts seem to become a little more roasty. Fun. I don't eat cucumbers and don't even like cucumber water so I passed on this beer for months. the cucumber is there in the aroma and body but not overpowering.
