andrewje41	3.8 Schooner Exact Mountain Boomer Bomber of Boomer, picked up at Schooner Exact a little while back, for a stupidly ridiculous bargain price for a 22. I was stoked at the time, and now, I wish I would have bought a few more. A muddy, reddish brown pour, some foam head, a sticky lacing. Dark fruit and bready malts pair nicely on the aroma. Some dusty, bready malts, bran, hints of dark fruit on the flavor, but mostly the smooth, cereal grains, with a warming touch. I like this. It's perhaps my first winter ale/olde ale of the season, so it adds to the fact that it's a memorable one. Hope this one comes back again. Wednesday, November 6, 2019

maekchu	3.7 Schooner Exact / Ise Kadoya Mosaic IPA Can from Seijo Ishii in Umeda Station. Aroma of crushed berries and tropical fruit. Might hazy copper/gold color. Fairly fruity initial, stone fruit, mild tropical fruit, maybe mango, nice bitter hits in mid palate, and a smooth but moderately tangy finish. Medium body, a bit chewy. Very nice. The Mosaic certainly shines in this one. Why did this beer take so long to show up on the shelves in Japan (it was canned on Aug. 20, 2018)? Saturday, March 16, 2019

mrjez	3.7 Schooner Exact / Ise Kadoya Mosaic IPA 5-month-old can from Seijo Ishii, never come across this before. Pours an orange gold, nice lacing. Aroma of pine, tropical fruit and citrus, biscuit malt. Throwback flavour leaning on the sweet side of malts with pine and grapefruit hop, perhaps more due to age. Lovely soft body with lowish carbonation and a moderately bitter and dry finish. Hope to find fresher, I could go a few of these. Thursday, January 24, 2019

KansaiBeerLvrs	3.1 Schooner Exact Summer Beer Pacific Ale Schooner Exact Summer Beer Pacific Ale 5.2% (on the can but it says 5.5% on their website so maybe it went up?) Can from Rakuten if memory serves me correct. Probably from last summer, it poured an orange-gold with a fast-dissipating head. The aroma is sweet grainy malts, something floral and it comes off somewhat rough. The taste is very similar which makes me think it is either heat damaged or two old. I didn’t get anything particularly hoppy from this beer and it’s probably one of my least favorite beers from Schooner, shame. I was under the impression it was a hoppy beer due to the Pacific Ale in the name but it seems to be listed as a Golden Ale on Untappd. Thursday, August 2, 2018
5000	3.9 Schooner Exact Hopferno Bottle: Black, huge foamy and frothy light beige head, very nice lacing. Big sweet roasted malt nose with bits of chocolate and soft hops. Smooth up front, sweet, roasty, with loads of chocolate. Background has a nice balanced citrusy hop bite. Very very clean. Wow... great balance in this one. Moderate body and mouthfeel. No sulphur or cow pasture, which is so common. Just roasty, with dark chocolate and a balanced hop bitterness. Simple yet elegant. This one is way too easy to drink! Great Black IPA! Schooner Exact Barrel Aged Cherry Sour 5% Ruddy orange brown in color with a great fruity sour Flemish red aroma. Fairly full bodied but with a scratchy carbonation. The taste gives you toasted oak and vanilla then lots of highly acidic tart cherries. Sour but really well made. It hits the spot. Sunday, April 15, 2018
KansaiBeerLvrs	3.5 Schooner Exact / Belltown SODO IPA Tap at the Before 9 Schooner Exact Tap Takeover Event. Sodo IPA 6% I believe this is the house/experiental sub-brand of Schooner Exact. This mellow gold brew has a rich apricot fruity hop bouquet with tropical overtones. Medium to line bodied, the raspy carbonation finishes bone dry. The taste starts off fruity, stops by bready malt town before going down bitter hop avenue. A solid IPA as are all the ones I’ve gotten from Schooner Exact. Sunday, April 15, 2018

TimE	3.7 Schooner Exact Mountain Boomer slightly hazy medium brown color. Dark fruit, raisins, molasses in the nose. Excellent chocolate brownie, fig, dark fruit and raisins in the mouth with modestly aggressive bitterness. Definitely a west coast take on the style. Rounded. Bitter dry finish with dark fruit. Interesting. I would prefer without the bitterness but nonetheless it delivers on complexity and is great for what it wants to be. Sunday, February 11, 2018
hman43	3.9 Schooner Exact Old Grinderface - Barrel Aged It pours amber leaning towards brown. It has a light brown head and head retention is moderate to good. There are strong malty rich aromas. The note are bready and toast with some caramel in the mix. There is a slight hint of chocolate and the hop character is very low with some oak background elements and alcohol. The malty rich flavors of bread and slight caramel. The oak is also a bit more pronounced in the flavor than in the aroma. The hops are a bit spicy with a slight sherry like flavor. Alcohol is noticeable, but not hot. As it warms, the caramel is noticeable, but is still on the low side. It is full bodied, but not quite chewy. The alcohol warmth is pleasant and it finishes semi dry. Saturday, February 10, 2018

Flavor is a creamy milk chocolate, smooth bourbon, dough malts. A bit on the rich side. Like the constant chocolate flavor going on. Original beer here for sure.
