Whitstable

Formed in 1995 as Swale brewery in Milton Regis, Sittingbourne, moved to Grafty Green near Maidstone in 2001. Sold to the ancient Whitstable Oyster Fishery Company during 2003, though it was at least a year before the new owners starting brewing. In addition to the brewery and rights to the oyster fishing in Whitstable, the Whitstable Oyster Fishery Company owns a hotel, restaurant and bar on the seafront.
