COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with 100% Centennial hops from the Pacific Northwest and named after the Two Hearted River in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, this IPA is bursting with hop aromas ranging from pine to grapefruit from massive hop additions in both the kettle and the fermenter. Perfectly balanced with a malt backbone and combined with the signature fruity aromas of Bell's house yeast, this beer is remarkably drinkable and well suited for adventures everywhere.

From tap. Pours golden orange with a white head. Aroma is grape fruity. Flavour is grape with a mild malt profile beneath. Finish is dry and bitter. Another grape dominated ipa, not offensive nor really good.

An orange beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma is sweet and very freshly hoppy with notes of hop oils - very powerful aroma. The flavor is sweet and quite hoppy, that gives flavors of oranges, flowers as well as hints of grapefruit. Very refreshing yet with a powerful body.

12 oz. bottle, split with Matts_Property, pours hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma of potent grapefruit, piney hops and citrus, balanced by caramel malt. Flavour is heavy on the piney hops, grapefruit and citrus, with just enough caramel malt. Most wonderful IPA.

UPDATED: NOV 11, 2012 Bottle at Brauhaus Schmitz, Philly - 21/05/12. Clear golden orange with a decent white head and plenty of lacing. Sweet malt nose not the hop burst I was expecting although there are piney hop notes at the end. As per nose caramel malt at the fore, piney hops at the rear. Medium bodied and carbonation, smooth dry finish. Original rate 7 - 4 - 8 - 5 - 16 = 4.0. -------&# 03/11/12 at Kasey’s Tavern, Chicago on tap. Clear mid amber with a good off white head. Decent lacing follows. Nose comprises sweet malts, pine, hops, bitter tropical fruits and some mineral tones. Tastes of bitter tropical fruits, pine, hops, minerals. Medium bodied woth fine carbonation leading to a bitter finish, great IPA. Came out as the same score as the original review with taste +1 and palate -1.
