I wanted a nice hoppy Belgian-
8 lbs Pilsner malt

3 lbs 2 row pale ale malt

1 lb honey malt

1.5 oz Saaz hops

1 oz Northern brewer hops
1. Single temperature infusion mash at 152 F 1 qt/lb.

2. Batch sparge collecting a total of 6 gallons of wort.

Hop schedule

60 min 0.5 oz Hallertau northern brewer

30 min 1 oz Saaz

5 min 0.5 oz Hallertau northern brewer

5 min 0.5 oz Saaz

Chill and pitch with a starter of Wyeast 1214. Fermented at 75 for 1 week before racking to secondary for 2 weeks. Primed and bottled as usual.

OG 1051 FG 1012
5.1% ABV
