This beer managed to take gold
1.5 tsp gypsum

.5 tsp calcium carbonate

1 pinch table salt

.5 lb carapils

.5 crystal 60l

6lbs pale muntons extract lme

1 lb muntons plain xlight dme

1 oz chinook hop pellets

.5 oz centennial hop pellets

2 oz cascade hop pellets

1 oz cascade whole flower hops

.5 tsp irish moss

1 slant wlp001 california ale yeast
1. steep grains at 154 for 40 minutes

2. remove grains with strainer

3. add lme and dme

4. when boiling add 1 oz chinook (boil 30 min)

5. add 1 oz cascade pellets (boil 15 min)

6. add .5 oz centennial pellets (boil 5 min)

7. add irish moss (boil 10 min)

8. add 1 oz cascade hops (boil 1 minute) turn off heat

9. strain off spent hops, cool, transfer to carboy

10. pitch yeast

11. 7-10 days in primary

12. add 1 oz cascade flowers in bag with a few marbles

13. ferment to completion

14. bottle with 3/4 cup dextrose

15. ready in 12 to 20 days
