this is a classic and very eas
2L chicken stock
300mL beer
250g stale(or toasted) bread, crusts removed
100mL cream
salt, pepper and nutmeg to taste
1. put all the ingredients except the cream and nutmeg in a pot and simmer gently for 30 mins
2. puree in a blender,add a little nutmeg and the cream
