2L chicken stock 300mL beer 250g stale(or toasted) bread, crusts removed 100mL cream salt, pepper and nutmeg to taste

1. put all the ingredients except the cream and nutmeg in a pot and simmer gently for 30 mins
2. puree in a blender,add a little nutmeg and the cream
