Brewed 7-7-2011
*100 min mash at 140-150
(90 min mash was planned but gust of wind blew out flame on sparge water, so I ended
up mashing longer while sparge water re-heated.)
*Sparge at 155 to collect 7 gal,
*Boil 7 gal for 90 min,
*Chilled wort to 85 with copper imersion chiller in brewpot
*Rack 5.5 gal to glass carboy for primary (no secondary planned) cover carboy with blanket to prevent light.
*Add WLP 565 Saison yeast
Air lock bubbling at 6 hours
7-16-2011 added dry hops (1oz ea hallertau and saaz)
7-31-2011 referigerate carboy at Bev4less
8-5-2011 bottle
