Many brewers seem to brag about their IBU’s and I have two thoughts about this: (1) Most of them, lacking the proper equipment to measure it and the wish to really know, have no idea whatsoever about their actual IBU’s and (2) a brewer bragging about IBU’s in his beer is like a chef bragging about how much salt is in his stew. Boring, and more than slightly odd. Any monkey can throw more hops in the kettle - I’m really not impressed. There should only be one one question: "Is it beautiful?"
