Poured a clear red-copper color with an a small off-white head. Very malty with sweet toffee. The malt seems to have an off aged character to it. Earthy notes follow the malt to the nose. The flavor is sweet and malty with a mild bitterness and semi-dry finish. Medium-full bodied.

Bottle, courtesy blankboy. Pours a dark amber red, with a watery ring of white head and very little lacing. Caramel up front in the nose, followed by some hops and molasses. First thing that hits the tongue is chalk, with caramel, and some sweet molasses. Tangy medicinal finish. Sharp flavors create stinging bitterness, and alcohol is hidden relatively well. Labeled as a scotch ale, feels more like an Arrogant Bastard homebrew clone.

Excellente biere!!

Shared with Pyrozoid. Dark ruby red poor with a noce foamy light brown head. Aromas of hickory, bananas, woody, nutty and creamy caramel. Very creamy, alcohol induced, full bodied, extremely well rounded brew. Bitterness is extremely long lasting and its sweetness hits you right off the bat. Flavors are roaming around the alcohol... always very present.... but non-agressive... This beer is simply amazing... i’ve been waiting for it for a while... i love it!

341 ml bottle from HogtownHarry; Bottle says 9%ABV; Nose was lagery grain and brown sugar when cold changing to toffee, brown sugary sweetness, and light smoky and hoppy notes; clear red-brown with a medium, glass-lacing, off-white head; flavor has light hop bitterness in the background, some yeastiness, and molasses and dark fruit notes; very different combo of flavors.
