Red amber ale with a thick off-white head. Light sweet caramel malts in aroma. Rather bland caramel malt in mouth, with notes of nuts, no hops. Overall, boring. Mondial 2005.

Some fine lace on the sides of the hazy copper-gold liquid-filled glass...caramel and wet tree branches in the herbal, subtle nose...smooth, slightly thin body full of dry herbs, fairly sweet at the front and dry and lightly bitter to finish.

Jun 21, 2005 Clean, grainy, cereal malt nose is lightly bready. Clear copper with a low, off-white head that lasts and laces. Mild grainy and bready malts with some light herbal and spicy hops and gentle finishing bitterness. Medium-light body with lively effervescence. A difficult to nail style done very competently - perhaps a touch more munich/vienna malt would bring this to the next level. Sampled at the Mondial de la Bière 2005.

Jun 8, 2005 Sampled at le Mondial de la bière 2005. Pours a clear dark orange / copper color with a medium white head. Ordinary aroma and flavor of malt, caramel and fruits with a very mild bitter finish. Light to medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation.
