Bottle. Pours a hazy golden/orange with a medium creamy head. Aroma is malty, fruity, yeasty, and lightly spiced with a hint of honey. Flavor is sweet malts, fruit, light citrus, earthy and has notes of honey and spices with a smooth and creamy carbonation.

From the bottle pours hazy yellow/gold with a tall rocky white head. Big estery nose, floral with citrus and a bit of floral spicy hoppiness. This bottle had a ton of carbonation, big pop upon opening and lost a bit of the beer due to gushing. Overall the high carbonation really made this beer nice, really bringing the esters out, kicking up the spiciness, and drying out the finish. This didn’t seem to have the sweetness of a tripel, but sided more towards a saison with the dry hoppy flavor and a bit of wild yeast funkiness to it.

Bottle bought and consumed at the Foreign Bar, Bedford BF ’08. Amber with a huge white head. Slightly salty fishy aroma with chalky spices. Sweet. leathery musty taste with lingering bitterness. Too fizzy. This isn’t going to be a favourite of mine. Eaten with a damn good bacon and brie baguette.

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of plovmand. Slightly hazy golden with lots of floating impurities and a small off-white head. Sweetish fruity nose. Medium body with sweet fruits and yeast and a dry finish. Not a bad tasting beer, but sweet jesus does it look like shit. 230808

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of plovmand. Pours a hazy golden amber with tiny impurities and a decent off-white head. Aroma of fruit and alcohol. Quite a full body with plenty of fruit and yeast. Somewhat astringent finish. So-so. 230808

Looks English as it’s poured with minimal head and on the soapy side. No head or lace to speak of. Aromas of sweet malted pizza. Full nectar with ample residual effers. A malty sweet core pushing ripe nectarine pulp. The finish is bittered with a mild touch of acidity.

Pours deep gold into a tulip Fluffy white head recedes to hug rim. Green apple and pear aromas. Fruity and sharp with upfront candy apple becoming soft and hoppy in the finish.
