sayravai (3037), Helsinki, Finland Jun 4, 2005 (Bottled) Clear golden color with a medium head. Slightly acidic, candy-toffee-malty aroma (only when warmed up). Quite malty, candy-sweet, slightly honeyish flavor with a hint of roasted malt and a soft hoppiness towards the buttery-toffee finish. Light to medium-bodied, carbonated palate. Feels like Olvi Sandels with some added butter and color. When warm, it gets really candy-toffee-like. A quite difficult brew to rate because the nature differs so much with temperature change.
Dixen (1465), Copenhagen, Denmark Aug 9, 2005 Malts and some sweetness in the nose. Amber colored, small white head. Sweet malty flavor, qith a light hoppy note. Papsoe (9980), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 23, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful amber with a small, white head. Some caramel in the nose. Incredibly light body, soft mouthfeel. Slightly cardboardish flavour - does this come a wee bit too old? Absolutely no bitterness. A Premium Lager?? I’d rather call this a Vienna. 170705 Engelsmann (653), Copenhagen, Denmark Jul 19, 2005 Pours a clear golden, with a thin white head. Aroma is sweet caramel malty.
