dornoy (633), Lyngby, Denmark Jan 6, 2007 Small white head on a pale yellow body. This is a simple pilsner, quite ordinary. Nothing special, just - only - good for quenching thirst on a hot summer day.
larsga (2293), Oslo, Norway Oct 5, 2008 Biggish coarseish head doesn’t last. Yellow body with light carbonation. Dense oily grassy aroma with fruity toffee notes. Dry-sweetish grassy malty taste with fruit and paper notes. Mid- to full body. Chalky, clean mouthfeel, slightly oily. Dry grassy aftertaste. Not at all bad. (0.33l bottle, Systembolaget, Charlottenberg.) Steely (30), , Sweden Sep 28, 2008 Pale golden color with a quite firm white head. Crisp aroma with hints of bread and citrus. Light, clear flavor of hay, citrus, and distinct hop-bitterness. Kalli (416), Falun, Sweden Jul 13, 2008 Full, sweetish aroma. Aftertaste is sweetish but otherwise it’s refreshing and clean. It’s supposed to be a pilsner? Still, it’s not bad. yngwie (3602), Kristiansand, Norway May 15, 2008 Bottle, thx to Ole_R. It pours a clear, golden body with a decent white to off-white head. Grainy, bready nose with fruity hops in the background. Quite hoppy flavor profile, with pine, malt, a tiny touch of alcohol, as well as a nice bitterness going all the way into the finish. Medium body. Really love the hop-profile on this one, who would believe it’s a Swedish pilsner? (080410) Ole_R (1279), Oslo, Norway Apr 28, 2008 330 ml bottle. Firm white head, brilliant colden color. Sweetish malty, light citric aroma with a scent of hay. Taste has a fine hopbitterness, clean malts and some fruity tones. Light to medium body. Fresh and dry in the end. A nicely balanced and likeable Pilsener.
