yngwie (3342), Kristiansand, Norway May 15, 2008 Bottle, thx to Ole_R. It pours a clear, golden body with a decent white to off-white head. Grainy, bready nose with fruity hops in the background. Quite hoppy flavor profile, with pine, malt, a tiny touch of alcohol, as well as a nice bitterness going all the way into the finish. Medium body. Really love the hop-profile on this one, who would believe it’s a Swedish pilsner? (080410)
Kalli (375), Falun, Sweden Jul 13, 2008 Full, sweetish aroma. Aftertaste is sweetish but otherwise it’s refreshing and clean. It’s supposed to be a pilsner? Still, it’s not bad. Ole_R (1132), Oslo, Norway Apr 28, 2008 330 ml bottle. Firm white head, brilliant colden color. Sweetish malty, light citric aroma with a scent of hay. Taste has a fine hopbitterness, clean malts and some fruity tones. Light to medium body. Fresh and dry in the end. A nicely balanced and likeable Pilsener. Beer_2000 (1121), Kristiansand, Norway Apr 23, 2008 330ml bottle. Clear golden body with a big, dense white head. Aroma is grain, hay and toasted bread. Flavor is fruity, malt and some grapefruit. Medium body. This is just a really great pilsner. MiP (4843), Flensburg, Germany Jan 23, 2008 Bottle, 5.2%. Citric vegetable aroma. Clear dark golden colour. Semi-stable white head. The flavour is roughly grainy. OK body. Hint of vegetable in the aftertaste. OK bitterness. Not a good pils, but at least it has some flavour.
