tarjei (1168), Bryne, Norway Jun 2, 2008 0,5 l bottle, at Hopheads tasting at Roger´s place - thanks to Trygve. Hazy golden/amber color, moderate white to off-white head. Aroma has sweet malt and some fruit. Flavor is malty, sweet, has hints of fruit and sourness, and has some hoppy bitterness. A bit thin. yngwie (3529), Kristiansand, Norway May 15, 2008 Bottle. It pours a slightly hazy, yellowish golden body with a nice off-white head. Pale malt, a little grainy note and a little hint of cooked vegetables, as well as fruityness in the aroma. The flavor is malty and fruity as well, with some grainy notes, and canned tropical fruits. Quite sweetish, with a decent bitterness. Medium body. Grainy and fruity finish. It’s a quite nice beer, takes some time, but it gets better after a few sips. Would like it to have more power though, fuller and at 5.5-6% ABV would probably do much good to it. Clear golden beer.
Very fruity aroma, pine, rubber. Sweet taste, too, lots of fruit. Very Kölsch-like.
Very gentle, a bit too mild. Ole_R (1195), Oslo, Norway Apr 25, 2008 500 ml bottle. Clear golden color, low bubbely near-white head. Toffee notes and bread in the aroma. Whiffs of earthy hops. Sugary malt flavor. Some fruity tones and a mild, quite edgy hopbitterness. Body is light to medium. Fresh sourness and light bitterness in the end. A nice one. larsga (2149), Oslo, Norway Apr 25, 2008 Small white head. Deep yellow body. Fruity chalky citric aroma. Fruity sweetish chalky grainy taste with grassy hop notes. Dry citric grassy hop finish. Nice, gentle, drinkable, but perhaps not terribly exciting. Could do with some more flavour. (0.5l bottle from KnutAlbert.)
