gunnfryd (2718), Kristiansand, Norway Aug 11, 2008 Bottle. Black colour with a beige head. Aroma is roasted, coffee, malt. Flavour is coffee, malt, roasted, cacao, fruit. Nice and easy drinkable beer. Smaskifa (12), Oslo, Norway Jun 22, 2008 Bottle, fenaknoken. Pitch black, small beige head gone in seconds. Smells of coffee/chocolate, a bit smoked/burned. Tastes of coffee, chochlate, and something else very pleasing I couldn’t identify. Runs smoothly in the mouth, not too much carbonation. Reminds me a bit of Nøgne Ø Havre Stout. Overrall a nice beer. Strong liquorice aroma, coffee, burned toast. Light and easy drinking, yet with character and flavour. Beer_2000 (1164), Kristiansand, Norway Jun 8, 2008 500 ml bottle. Dark brown, almost black body with a medium beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee and a hint of liquorices. Flavor is mild roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate and dry fruit.
