ekstedt (1739), Göteborg, Sweden Sep 21, 2007 Draught at the brewpub. Deep hazy golden with a small head. Fruity and slightly caramelly with notes of butterscotch, along with fresh grapefruit hops. Medium bodied and a bit spritzy. Dry and bitter, not really an Oktoberfestbier. marking (20), Denmark Oct 13, 2003 A darker pilsner than the usual. Heavy in style with a hoppy aroma and a bitter dry ending. EgonB (19), Halmstad, Sweden Oct 9, 2003 Served like a darker Pils or Dortmunder, but more fullbodied with a clear bitterness in the finish from the Tettnanger hops. Delicious! LarsHolmer (112), Göteborg, Sweden Oct 1, 2003 Still very young but very rich in the nose, beautifully coloured with a darkish golden amber, and a bitter finish with a hint of sweetness.
