Almost black pour with a rather firm light tan head. Fairly lactic notes accompany the typical roasted malt nose that comes with a powdery feel. Chocolatey and dry palate that does not really evolve beyond this base. Feels a bit old, but their tanks are so small that I assume it can only be brewing issues, almost cardboardy already. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation.

Draught at the brewpub. Black with a firm and creaamy head. Some vegetable-notes, but salty and burnt with herbal notes.

Draught at the brewpub. Dark opaque brown, with a red hue, and a medium creamy beige head. Roasted malts dominate, with clear notes of butterscotch, and coffee. Medium to thick in body, very smooth. Very dry (too dry?) flavour.
