Rastacouere (5283), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Jun 10, 2007 Almost black pour with a rather firm light tan head. Fairly lactic notes accompany the typical roasted malt nose that comes with a powdery feel. Chocolatey and dry palate that does not really evolve beyond this base. Feels a bit old, but their tanks are so small that I assume it can only be brewing issues, almost cardboardy already. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. larsniclas (2795), Gothenburg, Sweden Jun 2, 2007 Draught at the brewpub.
Black with a firm and creaamy head.
Some vegetable-notes, but salty and burnt with herbal notes. rlgk (3018), Motala, Sweden May 26, 2007 Draught at the brewpub. Black color, brown head. Roasted malty aroma, cocoa and with some slaty and smoky notes. Roasted malt aroma, milky and with some chocolate.
