larsniclas (2735), Gothenburg, Sweden Mar 29, 2008 Bottled at The Rover.
Hazy, deep amber.
Flowery, hoppy aroma with some yeastiness.
Grassy and citric flavour with an almost harsh bitterness.
A bit thin, but what to expect from a folköl... rlgk (2944), Motala, Sweden Mar 13, 2008 Bottle at The Rover, shared with larsniclas. Hazy orange/amber color, some yeast in the beer. Offwhite head. Fruity, yeasty aroma, some hops. Hoppy, grassy, metallic flavor, lots of flavors to be a 3,5, but a bit too onedimensional to really please me. oh6gdx (5195), Vaasa, Finland Aug 27, 2007 Bottled (thanks omhper!). Hazy amber colour, big off-white head. Aroma is very fruity, grassy and flowery hoppy. Flavour is the same along with mild hints of bread and caramel malts. Still abit empty, but excellent for being only 3.4%. TBone (4616), Pori, Finland Aug 26, 2007 Bottled
Light copper-orange color, huge off-white head. Strong ashy and fruity hoppy aroma. Quite typical Ölands brew: lots of tasty hops, less on malt side (although this one is perhaps a bit maltier than many others from brewery). Super for being only 3.4%. English type tasty bitter. Marsiblursi (1262), Göteborg, Sweden Jun 8, 2007 Updated: Dec 30, 2007(Bottle, thanks to omhper) Pours light hazy amber. Yeasty and floral aroma with some spicy and orange peel like notes. Hoppy, citrusy and floral flavour with a perfumey, grapefruity bitterness. A bit doughy mouthfeel. Lingering afterbitterness. Medium body. Second try: (Bottle) Pours light hazy reddish brown amber. The aroma hold hops up from with citric tones of lemon, oranges and grapefruit. The flavour is spicy with lemon and grapefruit tones. Soft but dry mouthfeel. Medium bitter with an ok malty backdrop. Light to medium bodied.
