Comments: A very attenuated, highly effervescent beer with a few strong points, but a rather rough metallic side.
Bov (4558), Bienne, Switzerland Apr 9, 2007 courtesy of Per Samuelsson - slightly hazy dark reddish-amber colour, little beige foam; earthy and grassy aroma; slightly toasty, medium-bodied and solidly bitter; very dry bitter and earthy finish - very good beer ! TBone (4841), Pori, Finland Apr 7, 2007 Bottled (BB 09/2007)
Dark red ruby, big cloudy off-white head. Hoppy, hayish aroma. Medium-bodied, actually suprisingly full for this ABV. Palate itself is a bit watery. Hops, trefoil, iron and ash in the flavor. A bit of honey or sweet fruits in the finish. Good for 3.4 % beer but certainly needs more alcohol to kick. Ölands Gårdsbryggeri loves hops. oh6gdx (5204), Vaasa, Finland Apr 7, 2007 Bottled (thanks omhper!). Brown colour with some amber hints, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is strong fruity hops as well as some grass. Flavour is spices, fruits, some hops and a bit yeasty. Aftertaste is mainly hoppy and yeasty. Yet another pleasant beer from Ölands Gårdsbryggeri. jjpm74 (2760), Connecticut, USA Mar 23, 2007 Bottle courtesy of omhper. Pours a deep red with a thin persistent tan head and good lacing. Smells of perfume, caramel, toffee, sweet malt and biscuity. Tastes of pepper, roses and orangey. Surprisingly full flavored for a low alcohol session beer.
