haukur (670), Reykjavik, Iceland Feb 29, 2008 Updated: May 14, 2008 The most hoppiest beer in Iceland is born. At last, someone had the balls to be a bit creative! Very hoppy for a lager, citrus, outhouse, orange in the aroma. Looks are a bit of a let down, pale with a very small head but the aroma adds it up. Taste is hoppy, somewhat grassy, with a dry hoppy aftertaste. Reminds me of Sam Adams lager and Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Very good and extremely good considering this is from Iceland. Hopefully the next batches will be the same!.
Re-rate 14th may 2008. Floral, hops not as dominant as in the first batch. Good lager nonetheless
