Blind tasting. Smokey aroma with boozy heat. Fluffy brown head, slight oily sheen. Minimal lacing. Hints of currents with dark chocolate. Oily bitter chocolate palate and aftertaste.

Bügelverschlußflasche. Pours like oil, literally black with a small, but stable tanned head. Solid nose of liquorice, leather, dried fruits, roasted malt and cacao. Very solid dry bitter flavour, medium to full bodied. Liquorice and tobacco in the dry bitter finish, cacao in the aftertaste. Very complex, very fine danish brew.........

Bottle. Black body small brown head. Aroma is coffee and chocolate. Taste is also coffee, chocolate, tar and roasted malt. Nice.

Flaske. Kulsort øl med et meget lille skumhoved. Duft af kaffe og chokolade med et lille hint af metal. Dette hint bliver kæmpestort i smagen, der slutter meget metalisk bitter. Ikke særlig god.

Black colored with medium sized beige head. Strong roastiness and coffee dominates this aroma with vanilla, dry cocoa, licorice also with mild alcohol. Hops also finely present. Near full bodied. Flavor is also rich with roastiness and coffee, vinous and licorice flavor also here. Somehow biting aftertaste with hops, still licorice lasting here long. Very vinous and safty palate.
