Jeppe (2636), Ølbutikken, Denmark Jan 20, 2007 Muddy colored, fine beige head. Lots of spices and yeast on a sweet malty base in the aroma with a hint of alcohol. Flavor is sweet yeasty and slightly chocolaty at first with spices, grass and hop kicking in making it more edgy. Rather sharp on the tongue. A nice beer with a good drinkability.

Nice dark colour but with a dominating alcoholic flavor HomerSlottved (17), Denmark Mar 12, 2008 Malty and sweet with taste of dried fruit and a nice balancing bitterness. Not overly remarkable but quite pleasing yngwie (3602), Kristiansand, Norway Feb 23, 2008 Bottle, 50cl patent. It pours a reddish brown body with a dense, beige, medium-sized head. Rather dark aroma with coffee, mocha, some roasted malt, chocolate, dried fruits and a touch of alcohol. The flavor is rather pleasant as well, with roasted malt, mocha, caramel and bitterness. Quite sweet actually. Full body. Long bitter finish. Yet another pleasant beer from CSA, with a nice bitterness, from both hops and malt. A pity it was both the first and the last time I got to taste this one. (071228) MiP (6029), Flensburg, Germany Feb 11, 2008 Bottle, 7%. Batch #234. Quite malty, sweet aroma with a hoppy note, grassy, peppery and sweet. Cloudy brown colour. OK brown head. Quite roasted and flavourful, mostly liquorice. Swelling mouthfeel. After a while the flavour gets more vinous with a tiny hint of horse. The flavour does not seem to have as much hop as the aroma. Beer_2000 (1269), Kristiansand, Norway Feb 6, 2008 500 ml bottle. Dark reddish body with a dense beige head. Aroma is sweet malty, caramel, fruity yeast and hops. Flavor is rather sweet caramel, malt, fruity and hoppy. This starts as a bit average sweet ale and grows more complex after a few more sips. Nice.
