Comments: Kinda spicy, very sharp, earthy and VERY sour beer whose low ratings surprise me a bit. I found it brilliant and if the carbonation was aggressive indeed, the body underneath was relatively round and stuffy enough if you just swirled it around a bit before gulping.
henrikb (1059), Aarhus, Denmark May 16, 2007 What a very pleasant surprise - Hazy orange brown body, lasting beige head; Beautiful right Oude Bruin nose, with lots of cherry as a fresh slightly sour touch on the side; Huge big bubbled carbonation, sour, soft textured body, lacks depth which I guess would arrive with some more time in the bottle; Long sour growing finish, it does again need a little more time to become really sour, cherry pit aromas are at the forefront with straight malt aromas in the back. Great beer, looking forward to (hopefully) taste this again later. gunnfryd (2732), Kristiansand, Norway Jun 16, 2007 On tap at københavnske øldage. Orange /brown colour with an off-white head. Aroma is sour, cherry, fruit. Flavour is sour, cherry, dry, spices. madsberg (4365), Bangalore, India May 17, 2007 Draught. Amber coloured. Quite murky. Desne light brown head. Fruity with a subtle sourness in the aroma. Has loads of berries. Flavour as well has the fruits and berries. Is a bit on the sweet side, but a nice sourness is balancing the brew. Is very easy to drink. Medium to full bodied. Dry. Light sour fruity sweetness ends this beer. Nice. SoLan (1186), Orlando, Florida, USA Jun 22, 2008 Courtesy Papsoe. Amber/ruby/brown and a small, cream colored head. Lots of funky brett, cherries, oak, lightly toasted malt, and lactic and pedio tartness. Medium body, well carbonated. Very dry finish. Solid.
