Bottle, 75cl corked. It pours a clear, ruby body under a small, beige head. Roasted nose with some fruits, dried mostly, and a bready aroma. Sweet and roasted flavor with some caramel and a hint of dms. Full-bodied and smooth in the mouth. Lasting, roasted finish with hints of chocolate. A quite nice bock, although maybe a bit boring. (Bottled, 0.75l, 2008 vintage) Dark brown with a very small head. Aroma of caramel-syrupy maltiness, with anise and other spices. Roasted-malty, syrupy flavor with some hop bitterness and licoricey notes. Medium body, low carbonation. A good beer, but nothing special.

Bottled. A dark chestnut colored beer with a nice brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of pumpernickle bread, caramel, straw, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, alcohol, bread, brown sugar, malt, leading to a dry and bitter finish. Thanks Mike.
