ekstedt (1958), Göteborg, Sweden Mar 22, 2008 Bottle (50 cl) at Delirium Café, Göteborg, Sweden. Reddish amber with a large off-white head. Fruity, slightly earthy aroma with apricot and peaches, and pine needles. Medium bodied, good mouthfeel. Very welll balanced with a long bitter finish. Skou (21), Kolding, Denmark Feb 17, 2008 Hops, hops, hops. Very nice head, long lasting white foam. Golden yellowish colour. Long aftertast of hops, grape.
Ølfabrikken R.I.P. jerohen (1482), Bussum, Netherlands Jun 23, 2007 Hazy dark orange coloured. Very fruity nose, apple, grapefruit, some citrus. Very smooth bitter flavour with obvious fruity notes. Very nice brew. diabel (1210), Aarschot, Belgium Sep 8, 2007 Bottle, thanks to Jeppe for bringing this over to Belgium. Clear, amber body. Off-white, lightly brown head. The head looks very nice. Brilliant hoppy aroma of amarillo, cascade and red candy (but not in a bad way). Hoppy, heavily bitter, lightly sweet flavour with some hints of liquor and vanilla. Also A very good balanced (but not perfectly - the vanilla and hops don’t merge, but are totally opposed to each other). I agree my remarks are more futilities, as this is a brilliant beer! larsniclas (3034), Gothenburg, Sweden Mar 29, 2008 Bottled at Haket.
Hazy amber with a creamy, white head.
Loads of perfume-ish, flowery, citric hoppiness.
Light and fresh with some soapy notes in the flavour.
