Stefano (970), Esbjerg, Denmark Jul 18, 2008 Pours a clear, pale golden colour with a white head. Malty aroma. Sweet grassy flavor with hoppy and caramel notes. Better than most cheap pilseners.
omhper (10393), Stockholm, Sweden Aug 17, 2008 Draught at Nadsat, Copenhagen. Lightly hazy golden, small creamy head. Grassy fruity nose. Fairly sweet with rounded mouthfeel. Some grass, sugar and resin. The evident grassy hops are tasty, but the excessive spweetness reduces the drinkability and then iron chimes in in the finish. Jonte (365), Gothenburg, Sweden Aug 15, 2008 Can. Golden yellow color with a shrinking white head. Aroma and taste of biscuty/bready malt, hay, cardboard, grass, caramel, and light frutiness. Maybe a bit too much on the sweet side.
Not bad, but why do Ølfabrikken make standard lagers like this one? jfm (1572), Holbæk, Denmark Aug 5, 2008 Canned. Nice aroma with pleasant hints of hops and malts. Light hazy golden color with a white head. Nice full malt body with a nice bitter hop palate. Not a bad pilsener. bager (2027), Copenhagen N, Denmark Aug 4, 2008 Canned. Semi clear and golden coloured with a medium sized head. Quite nice - but same problem as most "micro’s" - it tastes more of a pale ale than a pilsner. Maria (3963), Thisted, Denmark Aug 4, 2008 Golden with a huge, nice and creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt, straw and fruit. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of malt, caramel, hay and the bitterness is on the low side. Have been drinking a lot of German pilsners lately, and this isn’t as refreshing and crisp as they are, but above average of the industrial pilsners.
