Plimmer (243), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 19, 2008 Can 33cl. Clear golden body with medium size off white head. Grass and hops in the nose. Dry and malty flavour with a nice bitter finish. Nice alternative to the traditional Hoff and Tuborg.
Fin (2343), Merton, Oxfordshire, England Oct 6, 2008 Can picked up from a random supermarket in Denmark (probably SuperBrugsen) Consumed 02-10-08 Pours golden with a large white frothy head. Sweet malts and some floral perfumeyness linger on the nose. Sweet and malty and with some bitterness coming through. I’m not a big Pilsner fan but I rather liked this. Geuzelambix (72), København, Denmark Sep 30, 2008 A sweetish brown lager with a lot of bitterness. I wouldn’t call it an average beer in style, but the total outcom is bit of a let down. hirigalzkar (43), Stockholm, Sweden Sep 21, 2008 Take away can from a restaurant in Copenhagen (Nyhavn). Light body, thick head. Malty aroma. Flavor is sweet with a bitter but short lasting aftertaste. KnutAlbert (2313), Oslo, Norway Sep 21, 2008 Can from a Copenhagen supermarket.
Brewed with wheat, probably to make the fine fluffy head. Dark gold beer, and I had high expectations.
Sweetish, malty beer, not balanced. Some aroma hops, but not enough dryness to make this interesting at all. A pity it has come to this. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Aug 17, 2008 Draught at Nadsat, Copenhagen. Lightly hazy golden, small creamy head. Grassy fruity nose. Fairly sweet with rounded mouthfeel. Some grass, sugar and resin. The evident grassy hops are tasty, but the excessive spweetness reduces the drinkability and then iron chimes in in the finish.
