Fine, tan head. Very light hop aroma with some dark malt roastiness. A solid body with a lasting roast malt bitterness. Slightly balanced towards bitterness.

Oct 20, 2008 Aroma of coffee and roasted barley - very mild. Black with a tone of red. Flavor of smoke and again mild a bit of roasted barley.

Oct 1, 2008 500ml bottle picked up at SuperBest in Valby. Nice beige head over a very dark body, leaving nice lacing on the glass. Vague aroma of chocolate. Initial sharp dark malts in flavour followed by a touch of dark, hopped fruits. Flat. Ok dry stout (hotel room, 11.09.2008).

Jul 11, 2008 Almost black, aroma is milky, coffee and chokolate, some liquorice, sweet flavour finishing bitter.

Jun 30, 2008 Tap @ Aarhus beerfestival 2008. Aroma is fruity (peach?), has rye, roast, sweetness and vanilla. Black coloured with an off-white head. Taste is sweet with blackcurrant, some roast, coffee and some bitterness. Bit thin body. Aroma is promising, taste is disappointing.
