acrdz (4248), Pennsylvania, USA Sep 11, 2007 Bottle. Clear solid golden yellow with a firm, frothy white head, about 1/2 inch thick. Nose of creamed grains, fluffy yeast, light corn, and a snappy, sharp resinous corn oil scent. Palate is smooth and frothy up front, then more firm and sharp in the back. Doughy corn and twangy grains tasted. Finishes extremely clean and elevating, with a light yeastiness and a cloudy, pillowy creamed grain flavor. Finishes better than it begins.
estoppel (1014), Buffalo, New York, USA Aug 10, 2008 Bottle. Nice golden body, dense white head receding, Saaz (or should I say Zatec Red) nose. Honeyed malts, Saaz, light DMS. Lightly carbonated for the style. wheresthepath (210), Buckinghamshire, England Aug 6, 2008 [330ml bottle at Malmaison, Reading] Attractive deep gold/ amber with a large, lasting foamy white head. Smells sweet, honeyed, some grass. Tastes disappointing in comparison; some malt and a tiny hint of grass, but mainly a bland watery bitterness. Instantly forgettable. renffisch (406), london, Greater London, England Jul 31, 2008 33cl bottle from southcott. golden colour, thin creamy head. floral hoppy nose. sweet malty flavour with a sturdy floral hop note.fruity and beautifully balanced lovely bohemian. AndrewKScott (319), Lemont, Illinois, USA Jul 30, 2008 Kind of a light orange pour. a bit of a fruity, grassy aroma. Sweet, grassy taste with a chemical aftertaste. I’m not a fan. Very difficult to finish. Gregis (884), Overland Park, Kansas, USA Jul 27, 2008 Bottle purchased at Beertopia in Omaha, NE. Pours a clear gold with two fingers of fluffy white head that diminishes to a thin cap. The nose is of grainy, biscuity malt with a lightly grassy supporting note. Light-bodied with a finely grainy mouthfeel concluding crisp and lightly dry. Sweet, light pilsner malt with a mildly grassy hop note at the finish. This is a fairly solid brew. It’s not flashy, but it’s not too shabby.
