thewolf (4156), Kolding, Denmark Nov 18, 2007 Bottle, bought @ Willems, Grobbendonk. Pours a rather dark oranges with a small, slightly fizzy but still creamy white head. Aroma is very fruity, orange peel, clemtines, peach, apples, pineapple. Lively mouthfeel with small bubbles. Flavour is relatively sweet with a rather present yeastiness. Apart from that, there is plenty of fruitiness and a slightly tartness at the end. Some hops drop in as well. Quite nice Tripel.

Smells citrusy and sweet with some alcohol on the nose as well as some light malt aromas. Without a doubt the best tripel I’ve ever had. Sweet, but not overly, vibrantly fresh, the bitterness is very in your face it’s hard to forget about it. There is good malt flavors and the yeast characters just add to the wonderful flavors.
